CEMAT Economic Prospects
CEMAT Talousnäkymät, CEMAT Economic prospects, is a web publication series that provided up-to-date overviews of the economic development of Russia and China from the perspective of Finnish enterprises. In 2010, the reports on the economic development of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, and in 2012 reports on Latvia and Lithuania, were also published.
The site was provided by the Center for Markets in Transition (CEMAT) at the Aalto University School of Business. The overviews combined data from economic forecasts of various research institutes, barometers that map the expectations of enterprises, and CEMAT’s partner companies’ economic outlook of the target countries. On this basis, the overviews analyzed how economic prospects are reflected in the business possibilities of Finnish companies in the target countries.
